Esther and Bog have been friends of mine for a few years now and it’s easy to call them great friends! We decided to have their 5-year wedding anniversary session in the picturesque Cooperstown, NY. Cooperstown is wonderful because of its small-town charm and character while also boasting its beautiful, blue lake with petite mountains framing the water.
We started our session at the lush grounds of the Fenimore Art Museum. Stone walkways and beautiful gardens were the perfect settings to start our time together. I loved capturing classic portraits of them as the sunshine was beaming through the clouds. Esther and Bog decided to start with a more formal look for their first outfit.
Then we went into town and the couple went for a more casual look and vibe as we admired the charm and classic architecture of the buildings, some of which included thriving lavender plants.
We ended the session with a visit to the well-known Otesaga Resort Hotel and captured some portraits of them in front of the lake. The couple knew of a great restaurant nearby so we had to check it out. It was a delicious and relaxing way to end the night!
If you’re searching for a photographer to capture your love, family or the special season you are in, I would love to hear from you & chat!
