Lauren and Andrew have known each other since they were 5 and 7 and planned an intimate wedding in Cooperstown, NY. They grew up together in the same town in Missouri, and their families have ties that go back to their great-grandparents. They brought a taste of Italy to upstate New York through a multi-course Italian meal – as an event planner and culinary artist – Lauren planned an amazing day for her guests.

Lauren studied culinary arts abroad in Italy, and for their intimate wedding in Cooperstown, NY they planned a multi-course Italian dinner inspired by their time there. They also got engaged in Italy with the hopes of getting married there, but they chose Cooperstown, a place special to Lauren and her family so that their closest family and friends could be there to celebrate together with them.

40 of their closest people gathered to celebrate Andrew and Lauren wed lakeside. It was a rainy morning, but for the ceremony, the rain cleared and the sun peeked out making for the most gorgeous ceremony and portraits after. Cooperstown is the perfect Upstate New York destination for an unforgettable wedding weekend from the iconic National Baseball Hall of Fame, and the luxury Otesaga Hotel, to a private golf club (which Andrew and Lauren chose), it makes for a stunning location in the heart of New York to host your wedding.

Leading up to the wedding, Lauren shared “We are hoping to have a relaxed day where we can really savor and take in every moment. We want it to feel like a wedding where all our favorite people are together just enjoying each other’s company. My whole inspiration for design has been an “outdoor dinner party” with Italian themes. I want everything to feel intentional and full of small, special touches.” Their day was just that and I loved capturing their day on digital and film.

Some special touches were Lauren’s satin wedding dress that she custom designed and she arranged her and her bridesmaid’s bouquets with flowers from a local florist, Art Farm Cut Flowers. Her gorgeous updo was by Hair Artistry by Marlysa.
