Katie & Pat’s Spring Wedding in Lake George, NY

Katie and Pat’s wedding kicked off my 2022 wedding season and it was a great wedding to start off the year! Their wedding was held at the Inn at Erlowest in Lake George, NY, and a nearby church in Hudson Falls for their ceremony. Both locations were stunning! One of my favorite moments was as they walked out of the church doors. The wind blew and Katie’s veil flew and made for such a picturesque moment! Sometimes the unplanned moments are the best.

The couple with both of their wedding parties got ready at the Inn at Erlowest in the townhouses, and then Katie and her girls moved to the bridal suite which had a balcony overlooking the lake. We went out on the balcony for portraits of her and her bridesmaids and a precious first look, and captured a special moment she shared with her mom before heading to the ceremony. A nice perk of the Inn at Erlowest is that a good amount of your guests can stay the weekend right at the venue. Super convenient for those traveling in from out of town, and for the couple to relax for the weekend!

Katie and Pat went for a classic style while still having a fun and modern flare. The Inn boasts classic and traditional architecture and the water nestled between mountains never gets old as the backdrop. Katie’s bridesmaids wore a variety of Jenny Yoo dresses in the most lovely green which complimented the mountain surroundings perfectly. Katie’s dress was from Lily Saratoga in Saratoga Springs, designed by Essence of Australia.

The Inn’s food is great, guests enjoyed an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour and the couple had a live band which always makes for a really fun reception! The dance floor was full. 🙂 Now for the photos to speak for themselves.
