Hannah & Dan had a sweet and simple quality about them from our very first phone call and it carried throughout their wedding day. Their wedding day was held at Hannah’s family farmhouse, which was first her grandparents, who were remembered & missed throughout the day. It was a warm July day and we gathered under the home’s beautiful trees for their heartfelt ceremony. Hannah’s mom welcomed her at the farmhouse front door as she began down the aisle in front of their closest family & friends.
Hannah opted for an array of wildflowers for her and her bridesmaids, which were so beautiful. I was obsessed with the pop of color. Hannah’s bridal look was simple and classic, from her lace dress, flowing veil, and pearl earrings, she was just stunning. The “something blue” front door was just, perfect.
Dan’s family has New Orleans roots, so it was especially fun on the dance floor. The couple chose barbeque for the menu which is safe to say everyone loved. The bar was nestled under a tree along with paper lanterns that made for a special set-up in the backyard. The couple shared a precious first dance and siblings shared loving speeches. There were definitely tears shed across the tent at the kind words spoken about the couple’s love story.
We had a beautiful sunset after the hot day it was, and I loved how their bridal portraits came out. So classic and full of love. If you’re in Upstate New York or the surrounding areas and planning your wedding, I would love to connect about capturing your wedding day. I’d love to hear from you!
